He started his career with Barclays Bank
around the Birmingham area. Not many people would know what £10 million in CASH looks like!
In 1980 Richard re-trained as a computer programmer and spent the next 20 years working within IT from programming
to team management for mostly blue-chip companies on various large commercial projects. Most of this work
was as an external consultant; definitely one of Richard’s best moves.
In 1999 Richard diversified once more as he became a lecturer at Oxford Aviation College where
he instructed various technical subjects leading to students passing the UK CAA and the JAA Airline Transport Licence (ATPL)
theory examinations. Using these skills Richard went to live and work in New Zealand for CTC Aviation
Hamilton in 2007.
Richard returned
to the UK in 2008 where he continues to lecturer in aviation on a freelance basis, which has seen a significant increase in
2017. Between 07:00 and 10:00 he is usually found trading the FOREX & stock markets a very interesting
and profitable sideline.
